As a director for Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies at Yandex, Alexander is responsible for the direction of experimental AI products and technologies. Prior to that, for 9 years, he headed the development of products and algorithms for computer vision at Yandex.

Prior to Yandex, he worked at SPIRIT DSP and its subsidiary, SeeStorm, as Product Director. He was engaged in algorithms for compression and transmission of sound and video, speech recognition, video conferencing technologies, computer vision and 3D modelling.

The first place of work was a temporary research team "Supermatrix", where he was involved in machine design of the topology of superconducting matrices.
