Participants of the course, experts and practitioners discussed key issues featured in the forum’s program and later presented the main points that reflected the youth’s view on the current agenda.

All six lectures of the special course were held online. The lecture on digital cooperation and sustainable development goals was read by Andrey Kuleshov, an expert analyst at the Center. In his statement, he paid particular attention to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres’ proposal to create a Global Digital Compact, the relevance of the Compact and its potential content.

On April 3, two closing lectures were read by two other experts of the Center. Tatiana Kurbatova gave young participants a lecture on taxation of digital companies. She specifically touched upon the proposal of the OECD to impose a 15 % minimal global tax on multinational digital companies from 2023. The proposal was supported by many countries, including Russia. In her lecture “Approaches to International Regulation of Artificial Intelligence”, Anna Abramova assessed the influence of the Internet and AI technologies on the development of civilization and provided an outlook on the digital future of the world.
