"Major foreign software vendors have left Russia due to pressure from Western countries. In such circumstances, we have increased support for our developers... We have provided soft loans for IT companies. We freed them from field tax inspections, simplify public procurement procedures. We abolished the income tax for the next two years "- said the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.  

Mr. Mishustin also added that the IT companies are saturating the markets with new ways of purchasing goods that are convenient for the citizens. For instance, the number of registered e-commerce companies has increased 13-fold in three years. The release of a single domestic mobile application store was also recalled by the Prime Minister. 

"Now RuStore is already working and starting to replace foreign counterparts. More than eight million people have installed it for access to a variety of banking services, games, and online movie theaters and stores. We have more than 18 million downloads in total," he said.
