On 5 June, the RTU MIREA hosted the strategic session "The Global Printed Circuit Board Market: Export Support Measures, Digital Attachés, and Priority International Markets" as part of the Second All-Russian Conference on Printed Circuit Board Design and Manufacturing.

The event was jointly organized by the Center for Global IT Cooperation, the Federal Center for Digital Industrial Technologies (FC DIT), the Russian Export Center (REC), and the Printed Circuit Board Consortium.

The session was moderated by Vasily Zudin, Director for Foreign Economic Affairs at the Center for Global IT Cooperation.

The discussion focused on practical issues related to the international expansion of Russian manufacturers of printed circuit boards and radio-electronic components, available government export support mechanisms, and the opportunities offered by the Digital Attaché Service.

The participants included:

• Olga Kozhukhovskaya, Chief Executive Officer of the Printed Circuit Board Consortium;
• Alexey Sazhinov, Head of the Digital Attaché Service Project Office at the Federal Center for Digital Industrial Technologies;
• Alexey Mudrakov, Director of Client Relations at the Russian Export Center;
• Alexey Ordin, Digital Attaché at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Armenia;
• Georgy Glukhov, Digital Attaché at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Thailand;
• Mikhail Kudryavtsev, Digital Attaché at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the United Arab Emirates;
• Olga Yakovleva, expert on the Algerian market.

A separate part of the discussion was devoted to promising international markets.

Participants examined export opportunities in Armenia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and Algeria.

Experts reviewed demand for electronic components, regulatory frameworks, participation in national digital projects, and the development of high-tech industries across these friendly markets.

According to the participants, the industry is gradually moving beyond import substitution toward export-oriented growth.

Increasing production capacity and the ability to manufacture higher-class printed circuit boards are creating new opportunities for Russian companies in international markets.

Alexey Sazhinov emphasized:

"Although entering new international markets requires significant investments of time, financial resources, and human capital, support provided by export promotion institutions can substantially reduce these costs. Digital attachés help answer practical questions concerning market demand, sales models, and potential business partners. As a result, exporters are able to formulate stronger business hypotheses while significantly reducing the cost of testing them."

Vasily Zudin added:

"Today's discussion with Russian printed circuit board manufacturers proved highly productive. Together with our colleagues from the Federal Center for Digital Industrial Technologies, the Russian Export Center, and Digital Attachés serving in Armenia, the UAE, and Thailand, we explored export opportunities for Russian radio-electronic components. The industry is developing rapidly, mastering the production of Class 6 and Class 7 printed circuit boards, and we see strong prospects for entering friendly international markets. Together with FC DIT, the Center supports companies through educational webinars and business missions, where they gain both practical expertise and direct access to prospective international partners."

The session provided a platform for direct dialogue among manufacturers, export support institutions, and representatives of Russian trade missions abroad.

This format enables participants not only to discuss promising markets but also to establish the practical partnerships required to promote Russian radio-electronics internationally.
