In anticipation of the III Youth Internet Governance Forum (Youth RIGF), the Center for Global IT Cooperation, with the support of the Presidential Grant Foundation, has prepared a study “Youth in the IT Industry: professional realization, key growth points, importance for the country's development". 

Young people in the IT industry are the most important factor in the development of the country, which deserves a separate analysis and reflection for the formation of further development policies. The growth of the IT market stimulates the demand for highly skilled workers with the ability to create, manage and market IT products.

The study addresses the current challenges of the IT and digital economy labor market, issues of personnel training, personal and professional realization of young people, identifying points of growth and opportunities for progress and development. The material contains basic information and useful data about the problem at hand.

The overview analyses, forecasts, specific proposals and recommendations presented in the paper can be used to improve approaches and practices in the training of young professionals and their involvement in digital projects. In designing national policies and instruments on the issue, the information can be taken into account by various development institutions.
