In 2025, the Center for Global IT Cooperation (CGITC) is among the organizers of a number of issue-related sessions within the framework of national and international forums on Internet governance:
- 15th Russian Internet Governance Forum RIGF 2025, April 7-8, 2025, Moscow. Speakers and participants of the anniversary RIGF 2025 will discuss topical issues of global network development and Internet governance.
- Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF 2025) – April 2025, Moscow, organized by the Center for Global IT Cooperation (see the link to Youth RIGF 2024)
- 20th edition of the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF Lillestrom/Oslo 2025), June 23 - 27, 2025, Lillestrom, Kingdom of Norway
For this series of events, the Center plans to release a specialized Collection of Expert Articles from Russian and foreign authors/author groups on a wide range of issues related to Internet governance.
The topics of the Collection's articles can be very diverse, taking into account the wide coverage of issues related to the development of the Internet (current challenges in the field of information space and the digital economy, the problems of introducing and using end-to-end digital technologies, tasks and measures to strengthen the IT industry, etc.; article format – overview, analysis, scenarios, forecasts, proposals and recommendations, examples of topics – see below). The authors can be holders of an academic degree, as well as graduate students, undergraduates, bachelors, or other relevant experts and researchers.
The author's texts will be presented in a separate printing edition produced by the Center for Global IT Cooperation – "The Internet Today and Tomorrow 2025". The Collection will be posted in the RSCI database. (The Collection of 2024 is available on the Center's website, as well as on the resource of the Scientific Electronic Library.)
As the publications are collected, the issue of translating texts into English for presentation to a foreign audience at the above-mentioned and other forums will be considered.
The presentation of the Collection at the relevant sessions of Russian forums, including with the possible participation of the authors, will be included in the agenda of the events. The Center will also take care of the dissemination of information and promotion of the Collection in Russian and foreign media.

Previously unpublished articles are accepted in the Collection.
A fair copy of the article should be submitted no later than March 7, 2025.

Objectives of the Center's initiative
- To intensify the discussion on the development of the Internet, digital technologies and the information environment in the Russian and international space;
- To strengthen coordination between specialists – the Collection as a tool for inter-institutional dialogue;
- To replenish the scientific and research base on the implementation and use of digital technologies;
- To identify and analyze current challenges;
- To identify priority tasks for strengthening the Russian segment of the Internet and the IT industry as a whole
To develop balanced positions and priorities for Russia's effective participation in international cooperation in modern conditions.
