Roskachestvo is an organization established by the Government of the Russian Federation that monitors the quality of goods from Russian manufacturers. The primary goal of Roskachestvo is to promote Russian products in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as to raise trust in their quality. Within the framework of Roskachestvo operates the Center for Digital Expertise, which is engaged in research and quality control of digital products and services.

The idea to unite the efforts of the Center for Global IT-Cooperation and Roskachestvo appeared as a result of joint participation in the session "Expanding the possibilities of digital development for the youth" at the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2021).

Under the terms of the agreement, the Center for Global IT-Cooperation and Roskachestvo will jointly increase research, expert and analytical potential in IT, exchange relevant information and experience, as well as conduct joint events and analytical research.

In particular, the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo has already shared with the Center for Global IT-Cooperation information materials on consumer recommendations aimed at increasing digital literacy, as well as experience in compiling ratings of digital services and products. The Center for Global IT-Cooperation, for its part, shared relevant materials on a recently conducted research on the analysis of world experience in the field of regulation of global digital platforms in national jurisdictions.

“We believe that the rich experience of the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo in the field of evaluating digital goods and services and its contribution to consumer protection is worthy of being presented not only to the Russian but also to the foreign expert community. I am sure that our cooperation in this and a number of other areas has good prospects,” stated Vadim Glushchenko, Director of the Center for Global IT-Cooperation.
