The discussion will focus on proposals of the Russian expert community to be included in the Global Digital Compact, in particular, the question of how to reflect Russian interests in the new treaty and which international partners can help us. The Center, in its turn, will communicate the results of the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2022) held in Addis Ababa and will tell about the position building of the Russian expert community. 

The speakers will also discuss the role of international dialogue within the IGF in developing positions on the Global Digital Treaty, as well as the prospects of the document itself as the first step in creating a more just and equitable digital world order. One of the key questions is how to balance the interests of the governments, users and business so that the document has at least a minimal impact on the industry as a whole?
