By increasing the research, expert, analytical potential in the IT field, we are strengthening the expert representation in specialized international organizations. Through the efforts of the team and partners of the Center, we stimulate network cooperation, create partnerships in the IT field at the national and international levels.
The first day of the XIV Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF-2024) has come to an end. This year's event is timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Runet - on April 7, 1994, the .RU domain was delegated to Russia. Speakers and participants had time to discuss the development and regulation of AI, the new national project - "Data Economy", cybersecurity and global digital governance.
The XIV Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF-2024) has come to an end. On the second and final day of the event, participants discussed issues such as the inclusiveness of the digital environment, the environmental impact of new technologies, data management, and finding a balance between private and public interests in Internet regulation.
On April 5, 2024, the award winners of the "For Safe Digital Childhood" Award were honored at the Cyberdome digital space in Moscow. The award was organized by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment. The award ceremony was held as part of the IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF 2024).
The IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF 2024), which took place on April 5 at the country's main cyber hub, Cyberdome, has concluded its work. It gathered the most creative, talented and progressive IT youth interested in the future of the Internet and technology. About 300 young people participated offline and several thousand more watched online broadcasts of the Forum on the partner platform - Vkontakte. The organizer was the Center for Global IT Cooperation.
The IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF) this year was marked not only by interesting sessions where the most pressing issues of new technologies development were discussed, but also by interactive master classes. The participants learned how Internet encyclopedias develop, what are the peculiarities of application development, what are "domain wars", as well as how to identify unreliable information and not to fall for fakes.
From April 19 to 20 2024, the "Safe Digital" educational marathon, organized by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment with the support of the Administration of the Governor of the Perm Region and the Center for Global IT Cooperation, took place at the Morion Digital Technopark in Perm. The series of events was attended by more than 500 children, parents and teachers, for whom a varied program was prepared: IT-quiz, immersive performance, thematic master classes, round tables and seminars.
On April 19, 2024, the Center for Global IT Cooperation together with the Chamber of Tax Consultants organized a specialized day - "International Tax and Near-Tax Issues: Adapting to New Realities" as part of the Russian Tax Congress.
As part of the IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF 2024), several prizes were awarded to winners of innovative projects from different parts of the country.
