Center to participate in SPIEF 2021

Director of the Center for Global IT Cooperation Vadim Glushchenko and Digital Youth Ombudsperson Dmitry Gulyaev will become speakers of the session ‘Expanding the possibilities of digital development for the youth’ at the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which this year is held from 2 to 5 June. They will speak on the last working day of the Forum, June 5th.

Center to participate in SPIEF 2021

The discussion will focus on the transformation of the economy in the era of digitalization and the role of youth in it. The participants will also discuss opportunities for young professionals in the development of global IT cooperation and the risks that global digital platforms can carry with them.

The Russian Northern capital has been hosting SPIEF annually in early June since 1997. Every year the number of participants exceeds 10 thousand people who come from more than 120 countries. The main audience of the forum is the heads of the largest Russian and foreign companies, heads of states and political leaders, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, ministers, and governors. Over the past years, the Forum has become a leading global platform for communication between representatives of the business community and discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.
