“The competitions have quite significant differences, they relate to both thematic lines, content directions, the procedure for considering applications, and the timing of production. For example, in the selection for creating youth content, the production time of the project is limited to the current year, in the second competition, long-term projects with a production deadline until 2024, are accepted. In addition, a mandatory condition for the national content competition is the face-to-face presentation of the finalists before the members of the Producer Council,” said IDI Director General Alexey Goreslavsky.

Applications will be accepted until February 28. Goreslavsky emphasized that the organization has received the opportunity to support long-term projects and that is why it expects to receive, in particular, projects to create video games on various topics, as well as projects in the blogosphere, social networks and series. The winners will be announced in April.

Support for long feature films, documentaries and animated films is not provided for this year. In addition, if you decide to show the project on TV, the “rolling window” between the Internet premiere and other premiers should be at least a month.
