Applications for the IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF) award for the best technology project for outstanding young professionals aged 18 to 30 are now being accepted. The aim of the award is to identify and support talented young people who can contribute to the development of the Russian IT industry.
On 28 February 2024, the Centre for Global IT Cooperation held a session dedicated to the development of digital competencies of young people as part of the Children's Digital Safety Day at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum. The event was organized by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment and the "Knowledge" Russian Society.
In 2024, the Centre for Global IT Cooperation will participate in the Internet Governance Forum and the Centre plans to publish a thematic collection of expert articles for the event.
On February 1, Moscow hosted the "AI is Available - No Need to Be Clever? The Future of Education in a New Era" round table, organized by the Center for Global IT Cooperation in cooperation with Plekhanov Russian Economic University.
On January 26, 2024, the presentation of the flagship projects of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment took place at the Russia exhibition and forum in Pavilion E - «World of Digits».
On February 1, 2024, the Center for Global IT Cooperation, together with Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, will hold a round table titled "AI Is Here Intelligence Not Essential? The Future of Education In a New Era."
The Center for Global IT Cooperation took part in the "Day without Fakes", which took place on January 14 as part of the Russia exhibition forum at VDNH. The organizers were the «Knowledge» Russian Society and ANO "Dialog".
On December 5-6, 2023 Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and The Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, with the support of the Union of IT Directors of Russia and the EXPINET expert network, held the Tenth SMART RUSSIA 2023 International Congress. The theme of the anniversary congress is "IT Globalization 2.0: The Transformation Of the IT World In the Era of Artificial Intelligence".
