The Center for Global IT Cooperation and Seamless Legal held a webinar dedicated to the new requirements for the international development of Russian IT companies, as well as the practical aspects of operating in the UAE and the MENA region. Experts discussed how the regulatory environment is changing, which legal and tax instruments are needed to build a sustainable model of international presence, and what risks must be considered when transferring technologies and structuring foreign operations.
The webinar provided a detailed overview of intellectual property protection, software rights confirmation, specifics of contracts with foreign counterparties, the application of IT incentives, transfer pricing, and new international tax regulations. Seamless Legal presented its practice of registering and supporting companies in DIFC, ADGM, and free economic zones, as well as adapting IT products to meet the requirements of the Emirati market.
Deputy Director of the Center Vasily Zudin emphasized the importance of combining export strategy with professional legal support:
“Our partnership with Seamless Legal creates a synergistic effect, where the transfer of Russian IT technologies is reinforced by legal expertise from practicing consulting specialists. The UAE markets and the broader MENA region remain a priority for us in 2026.”
Participants were also presented with the Center’s plans for international business missions, including the Gulf countries, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. These programs will help companies move from isolated export initiatives to a full-fledged architecture of global presence.
Current areas of focus and participation opportunities are available in the Digital Export section.
