“On behalf of President Vladimir Putin, all mass socially significant services were transferred to electronic form, including the assignment of pensions, payments for children, the issuance of a passport, enrollment in circles and sections, and others. In 2023, among the most popular public services in electronic format are an appointment with a doctor, payment of a single allowance and an extract from a work book. The popularity of the “gosuslugi” portal is growing: if in 2022 there were an average of 36.3 million hits per month, then in 2023 this number is already 48 million. The number of verified users of public services today is 103 million people, which is almost 70% of our citizens,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Dmitry Chernyshenko also noted that the development of gosuslugi and other services, their transfer to electronic format would be continued further. Relevant measures are included in the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation". At the same time, the possibility of in-person application for public services for citizens was still preserved.
