Applications are now open for the 6th Summer School on Internet Governance. The program welcomes students, postgraduates, young researchers and faculty members, as well as professionals from various fields who are interested in internet governance.
Applications are accepted until July 10 via the official School website.
Participation is free of charge. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of continuing education issued by Saint Petersburg State University (SPbU).
The training will take place online in two stages:
July 14–28 – Preparatory stage, during which participants will take an introductory course on internet governance to explore the global context of the topic.
August 2–18 – Main stage, involving interactive sessions with experts in the field. Topics of upcoming discussions include: “Digital Technologies of the Future (Artificial Intelligence)” and “Technology in Education.”
As part of the main stage, participants will undergo a final assessment, including group project work on a current issue in internet governance and the preparation of an analytical essay.

The Summer School on Internet Governance is organized by the Coordination Center for TLDs .RU/.РФ in partnership with the Faculty of International Relations at Saint Petersburg State University. The School is part of the global Schools on Internet Governance (SIG) initiative.
The program’s mission is to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of internet governance and digital cooperation at both global and regional levels, as well as to develop the skills necessary for effective involvement in international organizations, thematic conferences, and policy discussions in these areas.
