Earlier, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow declared the work of «The Eye of God» illegal. The court's decision became the basis for including the bot in the Register of rights violators of the personal data subjects.
In April, the owner of «The Eye of God» Telegram bot was searched. In March, at the request of Roskomnadzor, the bot made changes to its work format. In particular, the project began to act on behalf of another legal entity and limited access to personal data for an unlimited number of persons.
In the description of the bot, it was reported that it allows you to search for data about a person by email, phone number, Telegram account, geolocation, car. The cost of an annual subscription to the service was 2.5 thousand rubles.
