The Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment held a roadshow in Kazan

The two-day roadshow program includes three main areas: educational activities for children and teenagers, lectures and master classes on digital security and tools to combat Internet threats for parents and teachers, and a business program with the participation of Alliance experts, representatives of government agencies and companies of the Republic of Tatarstan and public organizations. The event is organized by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment and the Competence Center for Global IT Cooperation and supported by the All-Russian public and state movement of children and youth "Movement of the First".

Elizaveta Belyakova, Chair of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, welcomed the participants and speakers to the event.

"Thanks for your warm welcome in Kazan. In terms of the development of digital technologies, the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most advanced in Russia. We still have a lot of work to do together," she said.

The guests of the event were welcomed by Rifkat Minnikhanov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Council of the Association for Promotion of Digital Development.

"Children should be interested in technological entrepreneurship from the very beginning of their schooling: today the Republic lacks information security startups. This event will give you the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about cyber security and join the ranks of tech entrepreneurs," he said. 

The main speakers of the event were the largest Russian companies - participants of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment: Kaspersky Lab, Beeline and Megafon, as well as representatives of the Russian public organization "Movement of the First" and Dmitry Gulyaev, the Youth Digital Ombudsman.

The Roadshow of Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment is a series of hands-on, off-line, intensive Internet security training sessions for children, teachers and parents. The first stage of the Roadshow was held in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and the next stage is planned to be held in St. Petersburg in December 2023. The main goal of the Alliance Roadshow is to talk about the basics of Internet security and provide practical tools to improve children's online digital competence.
