The event was organized by the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights and the Russian-Chinese Friendship, Peace and Development Committee. The event aims to provide a platform for multilateral discussion and promote the development of effective import substitution strategies to meet current global challenges.
The roundtable discussions addressed the following issues:
- analyzing global trends in import substitution and how they affect development strategies;
- reviewing current and future import substitution projects, studying their potential and limitations;
- studying external and internal challenges such as tariff barriers, economic sanctions and how they affect import substitution policies;
- opportunities and obstacles of the cooperation between the state, the entrepreneurs and the public organizations in the context of the import substitution.
One of the speakers at the event was Roman Shamraev, the Center's expert analyst, who familiarized the audience with the Center's activities and presented in detail the recent analytical study "Chips: Global Landscape and Strategies of Market Leaders". Other speakers at the roundtable included Anastasia Valova, Managing Partner of Sinoruss Consulting, Elena Bellis, PR Director of KHIMMED, and Tatiana Karaseva, Vice President of Rostelecom.
