By increasing the research, expert, analytical potential in the IT field, we are strengthening the expert representation in specialized international organizations. Through the efforts of the team and partners of the Center, we stimulate network cooperation, create partnerships in the IT field at the national and international levels.
Applications are now open for the 6th Summer School on Internet Governance. The program welcomes students, postgraduates, young researchers and faculty members, as well as professionals from various fields who are interested in internet governance.
On June 6, the session “Trusted Digital Partners: Russia and the World” was held during the Global Digital Forum in Nizhny Novgorod, supported by the Center for Global IT Cooperation. The discussion focused on strategic development of IT infrastructure, national digital sovereignty, and attracting IT talent in the countries of the Global South. At the core of the conversation was the creation of equal and long-term partnerships with Russia based on trust, mutual benefit, and respect for national characteristics.
On June 6, the session “Digital Sovereignty: Resisting the Monopoly of Global Platforms” was held as part of the Global Digital Forum in Nizhny Novgorod, with support from the Center for Global IT Cooperation. The discussion focused on building a fair digital environment free from the dominance of transnational corporations and the pressure of global platforms on sovereign nations.
On June 6, as part of the Global Digital Forum in Nizhny Novgorod, the session “AI for Good: Practical Applications of AI to Ensure Equal Opportunities” was held with the support of the Center for Global IT Cooperation. Experts explored how artificial intelligence technologies can contribute to sustainable development — provided they are used safely, ethically, and responsibly.
On June 6, during the Global Digital Forum in Nizhny Novgorod, a signing ceremony was held for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Center for Global IT Cooperation and representatives of international organizations from the Global South. The document marks a significant milestone in strengthening partnerships in the field of digital technologies, paving the way for joint projects, knowledge exchange, and deeper international dialogue.
On June 5 in Nizhny Novgorod, the International Youth School on Internet Safety took place as part of the Global Digital Forum — a large-scale educational initiative that brought together young leaders, experts, and representatives of tech companies from across Russia. The central theme was the challenges of the digital age and the role of youth in shaping a safe and resilient digital future.
On May 22, specialists from the IT Export Support Project Office of the Center for Global IT Cooperation, Alina Ustinova and Alim Khapov, held a workshop in the Human Capital Development Pavilion at the international Positive Hack Days festival. The session explored how artificial intelligence is influencing human development and scientific knowledge.
On May 12, 2025, a webinar titled “The Digital Landscape of the UAE: New Horizons and Opportunities” was held, organized by the Center for Global IT Cooperation and the Digital Attaché Project Office of FGAU "CIT". Experts and business representatives discussed current prospects for Russian IT companies in the UAE, covering legal nuances and common pitfalls when entering Middle Eastern markets.
